Rashmika Mandanna wanted to extend her voice beyond her screen presence - a creative universe that felt authentically hers, distinct from her film projects, and built to connect with her audience on a more personal, everyday level.

My team met with Rashmika to understand the world she wanted to create and the story she wanted to tell. The output was a co-owned original IP - Rashmika & Ru - designed in a cartoon visual style that borrowed from Rashmika's own appearance and introduced Ru, a sunflower mascot conceived as an extension of her voice and personality.
